rooted in cross-cultural wisdom, the physiological design of mother-baby dyad, and the five essential pillars of postpartum care:

REST 𖦹 WARMTH 𖦹 NOURISHMENT 𖦹 BODYWORK 𖦹 COMMUNITY CARE

Across cultures, the postpartum period is honored as a sacred time for a mother to nest, heal, and bond — and in doing so, lay a lasting foundation of vitality for herself and her family.

Proper care is not a luxury, it is a birthright. In a time of disconnection from ancestral ways, it is an honor to support women and families through this tender, transformative rite of passage. As we re-member and birth a culture rooted in care, I believe the well-being of our communities begins with how we tend to our mothers.

𖦹𖦹𖦹

Honoring the physiological reality of the mother-baby dyad as one interconnected being, the care I offer places a loving emphasis on:

𖦹 preparing delicious, nutrient-dense, easy to digest meals to deeply nourish and sustain mama, while having direct impact on baby’s health and well-being.

𖦹 warming modalities such as sitz baths, postpartum herbal baths, vaginal/yoni steams, and moxibustion (an ancient TCM healing practice of burning mugwort near specific acupuncture points to tone organs + ligaments and move stagnant energy within the body).

𖦹 sobadas + gentle massage for both mama and baby, to nourish and tone the nervous system, encourage the uterus into pre-pregnancy position and facilitate postpartum healing.

𖦹 ritual & ceremony through rituals in reverence of placenta and closing of the bones ceremonies to honor the transformational rite of passage — physically and energetically "closing" mama’s body after the expansiveness of childbirth.

Placenta medicine & art

Honoring the placenta and the rituals that follow the birth of placenta is a powerful way we can rewater connection to our origins and honor the sacred organ that sustained life for our babies in-utero.

While some families will opt for a burial as an earth offering, many may choose to consume the placenta.

It is an immense honor to offer preparation of placenta medicine/encapsulation and/or art keepsakes upon request.

𖦹 encapsulation for additional support during the postpartum period and lactation. With qualities that help prevent hemorrhage, increase milk flow, support uterine involution, nutritional support, restoring energy, improving mood, maternal well-being, and maternal bonding, among others.

𖦹 tinctures for the health of the entire family

𖦹 salves and massage oils with regenerative and skin rejuvenating properties

𖦹 membrane band-aides

𖦹 energizing and nutritive chocolates with raw cacao

𖦹 placenta art prints

𖦹 keepsakes such as dream catchers, amniotic membrane hand drum, amulets, jewellery for teething and for baby to play with while breastfeeding.
